About Panapa Charters

Kia Ora Koutou and welcome to, “Panapa Charters Ltd!”

We’re the proud descendants of a legacy that kicked off over 50 years ago in the stunning Kaipara Harbour, and now we’re making waves right here in Auckland’s Waitemata/Hauraki Gulf.

As the trailblazers of the charter industry, we pour our hearts into delivering top-notch service, built on our family’s values of hard work and unwavering belief in one another.

Our commitment is not just to provide a memorable experience on the water, but to forge genuine connections with our guests, sharing the rich history and culture that define our journey. We strive to offer more than just a charter; we offer an opportunity to immerse yourself in the stunning natural beauty of the Waitematā Harbour and Hauraki Gulf, guided by those who know it best.

Our seasoned crew is deeply knowledgeable, ensuring your adventure is both safe and enlightening. Whether you’re here for fishing, exploring, or simply enjoying the serene seascape, we promise a warm welcome and an unforgettable voyage. Together, let’s create memories that honor our heritage and celebrate the wonders of the sea.

Being a Māori family, we honor Mana Whenua and are all about protecting the mana and life-giving mauri of our beloved Waitematā Harbour and Hauraki Gulf.

Each crew member has a vital role which helps us reach our family and business dreams while keeping our values front and center.

This venture is a fantastic adventure for the kiddos, teaching them about themselves, teamwork, and how to shine both individually and as part of our larger whānau and community.

At Panapa Charters Ltd, we promise to uphold the mana and reputation of the Panapa name while sharing our wisdom with eager learners.

We can’t wait to welcome you aboard!
